Hi Kim, Kevn, Aaron and Brendan

I saw the article in the Era today. I have thought of you at times throughout the year wondering how you were doing. It was nice to be able to read all about it on your website (and in the newspaper). It sounds like an amazing experience and brave adventure! It was fun to see pictures of all of you. Please pass on big hugs to Michelle and family. God Bless you all. You are wonderful family. xxoo

Hey Jorge,
Sorry to have offended you so badly, by our offerings of food to someone who looked desperate for a meal. I think you must have misread, as there was no force feeding involved. We just found it difficult to continually turn away from the begging and finally caved. In fact, I would have fed everyone that asked, if I had it my way.

I guess you know all about Siem Reap from the books you read, as it sounds as though going there in person would be below you. As for our pick of where to travel, we all have to start somewhere Jorge. Perhaps one day we will go traveling and just stick to camping in the bush like you, but then that isn't where life is really happening is it Jorge?

Our blog was really written for family and friends to know where we are and what we are up to... not necessarily a place for high and mighty world travellers like yourself to judge our choices.. Not sure why you would choose to read our blog if it angers you so.

You must have a lot of time on your hands, perhaps sitting alone with nothing else to do? I sense you need a vacation Jorge. If you want some ideas as to where you might want to go, where people will love you, please don{t hesitate to contact me.

All the best

Haha. Typical idiot tourists on safari. I thoroughly enjoyed your economic musings about the poverty in Cambodia (with meals costing a dollar each how much is there to be shared?) hahaha. Still, poverty is certainly no joke in Siem Reap and I feel bad for that poor woman you made sit and have a meal with you. I'm sure you felt like quite the samaritan, though.

Then you've got all these dipshits, who've obviously never been out of their comfort zone, in the above comments telling you how couragious you are. Yeah, it takes some balls to go to Siem Reap, the biggest tourist trap in Cambodia. What's next? Disneyland? That's meant to be quite a hazardous place as well. Jeez....

Anyway, I don't know you and I tend to steer clear of western families who trot about these parts of the world looking like they're at the zoo, so I'll never meet you hopefully.

best regards
Jorge
